First, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to look deeper into Just Peachy Cleaning Co. The beginning of a business is always an important story because it can cast a light on where the inspiration for a company like this comes from.

I moved to the Ottawa area in 2012 from a small Northern Ontario town of 10,000 people. My main goal when I got here was just to succeed at living here because this was a huge life change. Big city living is very different than where I'm from.

​

The need to be surrounded by a clean and organized space was crucial. I was that kid who stayed up just to make sure the bottom dresser drawer, conveniently classified as the "junk drawer" was organized in a way I was happy with or gutting my closet of things I "didn't need". My locker was the most organized in the hallway (in my opinion). I don't think people were very surprised when I told them I got a job with a cleaning company a few weeks after moving here.

During my time working for a few cleaning companies in the area, I started to get involved by talking to the clients I was assigned to and becoming the communication line between them and the office. My clients would tell me they would send emails or call the office just to not receive adequate help or not receive any at all. They were frustrated and it showed. 

​

I was also frustrated. Not only because my clients were frustrated, but my experience being an employee of these companies was lacking. As much as cleaning is a solitary experience, sometimes you want to know who else is working with your company. Maybe make a few friends who you have something in common with. I wanted to feel supported by my office which was oftentimes absent when I needed them. My concerns were voiced but I felt I was brushed aside.

This is where the wheels started turning. I knew I didn't want to change my job. I loved helping people in their homes. I wanted to change the companies, but I knew that would be impossible because they weren't mine. So I decided to make one mine. 

​

Just Peachy was created to fix the holes I was seeing for both our employees and our clients.

 

To our employees, who are the foundation, I want to give all the recognition, tools, support, connection, training and (last but certainly not least) income they deserve in order to excel at their job. After all, they're the ones who are doing all the hard work.

 

To our clients, who are our bread and butter, deserve nothing but the best. By putting trust in us, we have promised to live up to a bar and we set that bar high. I want to give our clients the best experience possible on both sides of the table. We strive to provide you with an amazing technician who takes pride in their work and gives you the clean you want. We also want to give our clients excellent customer service when dealing with our management team whether that be to handle a situation, answer questions or reschedule your cleans.
